Clinical information
Diagnostic Utility:
This is the principle of neutralization against the hepatitis B virus (HBsAg) and its determination is useful in:
- Confirming a reactive result in the HBsAg test.
Method:
HBsAg neutralization immunoassay by chemiluminescence (ChLIA).
Reference Values
Possible results are: Reactive and Non-reactive.
Diagnostic Algorithm:
Not applicable.
Response Time:
Maximum of 15 working days
