Ethical Code of the Blood and Tissue Bank: Values and Guidelines

The Code of Ethics of the Blood and Tissue Bank (BST) establishes the values and guidelines that should guide the behaviour of all its members, from donors to professionals. This code ensures ethical, professional, and responsible behaviour in all BST activities.

All BST members, including the Board of Directors, executive staff, and professionals, have the responsibility to follow this code. The Board of Directors and the Management Committee promote and implement these values, while professionals can consult the Deontological Supervision Commission for any doubts.
