Contractor profile

The Blood and Tissue Bank (BST) is the public company of the Department of Health of the Government of Catalonia, which operates subject to private law, with its own legal personality and full capacity to act in compliance with its functions, in accordance with Article 1 of Law 8/2007, of 30 July.

The BST aims to disseminate its contracting activities in accordance with the provisions of RD 3/2011, of 14 November, which approves the revised text of the Law on public sector contracts, which establishes that the publicity of the contracting activity will be carried out through the internet, on its contractor profile, with the aim of ensuring transparency, competition, and free access to the contracting procedures initiated by the BST.

The contractor profile will include data and information regarding the contracting activity of the contracting authority such as prior notices, open or ongoing tenders and their documentation, awarded contracts, and any other general information that may be of interest.
